She came into adult film at 34, after fifteen years as a hairdresser, and has stayed more than a decade: first in front of the camera for European and American studios, later also behind it. From a salon in Ireland to a Prague set
She grew up in the Czech Republic, in a small village about 120 km east of Prague, and spent more than fifteen years as a hairdresser and barber. The trade took her to Ireland, where she opened a salon and a hairdressing academy and ran both for five years. An accident on holiday in Turkey ended that: she slipped on marble stairs, tore muscle tissue around her shoulder blade and damaged ribs, and lost the fine hand work the job depends on. She was in her early thirties, with three children, when she began looking for something else. In a 2016 interview she said her life "never was an easy ride", and that learning from her mistakes and educating herself was what kept her going.
The casting that opened the door was a Woodman Casting X session with Pierre Woodman in Budapest on September 24, 2014. The name she works under salutes two screen idols, the actress Brittany Murphy and Brigitte Bardot. Twelve years later her credits run from European labels such as Private, Marc Dorcel and Rocco Siffredi to American companies including Evil Angel, Wicked Pictures and Brazzers, and from hard gonzo sets to a scripted Viking show she produces herself.

04Career
A career built without an agency
Since 2014 she has worked independently. Much of the catalogue sits in the extreme gonzo and anal niche that earned her the "Bad Bardot" tag, with long-running parts in the Czech series Perverse Family and in fetish features for Horror Porn.
She also directs. Harmony Films released The Next Step in 2020 as a feature from "performer/director Brittany Bardot", and her own label, Bad Bardot Club, now carries most of her new scenes.
